Killing Jar

oh my goodness fellas, I have a dilemma about blogging for last night’s fantastic show. I don’t know where in the hell to start!!!!
I can write about how awesome it was to party with Marc Allen, Steve Tobin (from Carnivore), and dirty Harry(from Voodoo Terror Tribe)  and old and new fans. I can also write about how great it was to see everybody buying the new CD’s and TSOP branded shirts and hoddies. I can write about how awesome it was to win one of the body bags, which I strategically need to hang up on the wall once I find the right spot for it. ummmm I can always write about how fucking awesome the show was, but everybody already knows that because all of them are GREAT!!!. This time however, this time is about the much anticipated release of “Killing Jar”, and the experience of what a Saints of Pain fan goes trough when they hold in their hands a piece of merchandise with the name “The Saints of Pain”.  It’s about those fans that bought the new war uniforms and proudly wearing it on their way home, and hoping that you get the opportunity to tell a complete stranger how great this band is.

It’s about those fans that look at the CD from cover to cover on the way home in the train. About tearing open that cellophane wrap, and not wanting to throw it away because it covered the best CD to be released. It is about reading the pamphlet and finding out that you are mentioned there as a #1 fan (thanks guys). It is about the discovery of finally being able to read the words to the songs and better grasp the meaning of the songs. Then your legs starts shaking with anticipation of getting home and listening to the CD over and over again. Then getting home at 6am and playing and dancing to the CD until the downstairs neighbor knocks on your celling for you to stop jumping up and down. It is about being so wired that one can not go to bed right away no matter what.
It is about looking at your iTunes counter to find out that you have played “Therapy” 8 times on a row since you brought the CD just an hour ago…..

one thing though guys before I sign off. Where in the hell is “I’d die for you” and “re-breath”???? I hope you are already working on a second album because we the fans want ALL of the songs…… The CD ROCKS!!!! it sounds great, and I’ve been listening to it all freaking afternoon since I woke up.
I can’t wait till the next one, and thanks so much for everything guys. I truly could not believe that I got a shout out on the CD. Until next time.

The Saints of Pain

Hi Fans,

I appreciate the barrage of emails that I just received letting me know that the company site and the blogs where down.
I truly apologize about this, but it was out of our hands. Our hosting company had the worse server crash they have ever seen. This affected ALL of their customers, which really suxs, because it affects some of my sales and blog momentum. Since it was at the server core, I was not able to access the sites or my emails.

24 hours later and the sites are just now starting to come back up, so please allow up 24 hours for all our sites to be functional again. I’m currently rebuilding my databases tables, yes, I said databases, so I have some work ahead of me

Thank you all for your concerns and nice emails letting me know that you were not able to read my blogs, an I apologize on behalf of my hosting company.
